About Josephine
Josephine is completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Global Studies at Waipapa Taumata Rau | The University of Auckland. She has a strong interest in Resource Management and Climate Change Law and is currently conducting research into the tort liability amendments to the Climate Change Response Act. She was an executive member of the Environmental Law Students Association and, in 2025, completed a year-long exchange at Sciences Po in Paris.
Prior to joining TEL, Josephine interned at the Environmental Defence Society and conducted research for Lawyers for Climate Action NZ.
Outside the office, Josephine loves exploring and enhancing te taiao o Aotearoa through conservation work, tramping, and mountain biking.
